Rob received many accolades at an early age on his instrument. He completed a Bachelors of Music Education from Indiana University and taught junior high instrumental music in Longmont, Colorado for five years. During that time, he performed and was a soloist with many groups in the Denver area including the Denver Symphony, the Denver Municipal Band, and the Centennial Brass Quintet, a group which studied with the Canadian Brass at the Banff Center for the Performing Arts. Since that time Rob has completed a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, though continuing his love of music by being very active in Bay Area orchestral, pop and jazz scenes, soloing with and playing for such diverse groups as the Temptations, Opera San Jose, The San Jose Chamber Orchestra, the San Jose Symphony, Monterey Bay Symphony, Schola Cantorum, Orotorio Society and the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra.
