Paul is a music teacher and Performing Arts Department Chair at Silver Creek High School in the East Side District of San Jose. He received a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Central Arkansas and his Masters of Music, Performance, from Kent State University in Ohio. He has taught music for 12 years, and in Japan taught English for two years in the public schools. He has performed in orchestras and small ensembles in Arkansas, Ohio, Japan and the Bay Area. He and his partner Scott live in San Jose with their dog, Simon da' whippet.
